Young saw his side secure two points in the game but expressed frustration at the loss of a game in which his side had built a healthy lead.
“For 50 minutes we played better than we did all of last season but we have got to realise it isn’t over till it’s over and with the quality of teams there are in this league, you’ll be punished if you switch off. We have got to give Harlequins a lot of credit for what they did. They got their tails up and it was hard to stop them.”
Young said that there remained a lot of positives to take from a defeat that had left the players and coaches hugely disappointed after the game.
“If we can play 80 minutes like we played 50 today it will take a good team to beat us. There aren’t many teams who play with the tempo Quins played with in the last half an hour and keeping our concentration is going to have to be something we work on pretty hard. I am disappointed leaving today though ultimately because we left three points behind but we know we can be better,”
