After a loose first forty minutes, Young’s charges were hugely improved in the second half and he says there is plenty to be positive about.
“It is hard to score 50 points against anyone so we are pleased with that. In the first half we were sloppy and rusty and we left a lot of points behind but in the second half we stepped up in every area. We stepped it up in the contact area and we got great quick ball to the quick lads."
"The real pleasing thing is we have only picked up a minor knock – a dead leg for Rhys Thomas which after two games is positive."
"The bench is important and tonight we had a lot of good guys to come on. It is going to be difficult to get the squad down to 23 but it is a welcome headache and we have some tough selection decisions ahead."
"We have a lot of work to do though in the next two weeks. We can’t play like we did in that first half against Harelquins or we’ll be out of it and we have to earn things. We have to build on that second 40 minutes but we can go home some bit pleased."
