Our 5-Day Residential Summer CoacHclass at RAF Halton got off to a flying start yesterday with 125 children all enjoying the first day's activities. After the morning briefing there was no hanging around and it was straight into the morning rugby session. Players aged 13yrs - 17yrs worked on their handling skills and spacial awareness as well as bonding with there new "team-mates".
After a short lunch break, the Residential players received their packs; containing | Backpack | Water Bottle | Player Development Workbook | RAF Halton Summer CoacHclass t-shirt | New Kukri London Wasps 2012/2013 playing shirt |
Later in the afternoon the participants were joined by the London Wasps 1st Team Squad who came to RAF Halton to prepare for their upcoming friendly fixture against Benetton Treviso, and meet our Residential CoacHclass players. After watching the professionals train, our CoacHclass players joined the London Wasps Squad for group photographs, autographs and Q&As to benefit from their experience at the top level of the game. We would like to say a massive "thank you" to all our players, coaches and management for supporting this showpiece event
After a much-needed shower, all 125 boys were fed ready for the evening's activities with the RAF Physical Training Instructors and RAF Regiment. Following an enjoyable and energy sapping first day, the boys were then given the opportunity to relax, settle in to the accommodation and get some much-needed rest and recovery.
