We have places available for our Summer CoacHclass on 6th to 10th August at RAF Halton, nr Wendover, Bucks. This SOLD OUT Residential CoacHclass is now open to 14-16 year olds to join on a daily basis from 9am to 5pm. Each Non-Residential player will receive 5 days of high quality coaching delivered by professional coaches and a chance to watch the London Wasps first team train. The event is run in partnership with the Royal Air Force, with the facilities at RAF Halton providing a professional back-drop for the young players to train like their professional rugby idols.
What level of expertise can I expect from the coaching team?
All of our RFU qualified and CRB certificated coaches are carefully selected and monitored to meet a comprehensive and consistent set of standards. Our coaches demonstrate a high level of energy and enthusiasm and are passionate about ensuring that each participant has an enjoyable, stimulating and rewarding experience in a player-centred learning environment. The coaching staff at this year's event consists of former international players, Level 3 coaches and full time London Wasps community coaches.
RAF Halton
Royal Air Force Halton sits in the beautiful, undulating countryside of Buckinghamshire, 30 miles northwest of London; nestled between the Vale of Aylesbury and the start of the Chiltern Hills. RAF Halton is approximately 25 miles from Junction 20 of the M25. It also conveniently lies between 2 railway stations, Tring (which has a direct line to Euston, London) and Wendover (which has a direct line to Marylebone, London)
