On Saturday 5th May before our Aviva Premiership fixture v Newcastle Falcons we welcomed 190 children to our Match Day CoacHclass. For this game we held 2 events, with 140 children from 7 different clubs/schools at RAF Halton and a further 50 children on the pitch at Adams Park Stadium.

RAF Halton:
Players from Maldon RFC, Southwold RFC, The Boswell School, Stratford-upon-Avon RFC and Norwich RFC were coached by our CoacHclass coaches and London Wasps players Jack Wallace & Joe Burton; who spent time with each group to answer questions and pose for photographs.

Adams Park Stadium
Players from the Wasps FC Minis and prizewinners & family members from Aviva received the unique opportunity to train on the pitch at Adams Park Stadium with our CoacHclass coaches. In a 'carousel' approach to coaching, the children spent time working on continuity, decision making and defence; while the Tag Rugby group worked on defence and attack through small-sided games. London Wasps players Ricky Flutey, Bob Baker, Lewis Thiede, James Harris, Jeremy Castex and Nathan Morris all got involved to offer some professional advice and support to all of the young players involved.

Following both events, the groups joined our Community Photographs on the Adams Park Stadium pitch with London Wasps players Joe Burton, Nathan Morris and Mitch Tamiau; before joing the 10,000+ crowd cheering on London Wasps to Premiership survival.
