Easter CoacHclass report

Read about 200 young rugby players enjoying our Easter CoacHclass events

During the 2-week Easter period we were pleased to run 4 CoacHclass events across our community at Bicester RUFC, Henley Hawks, South Woodham Ferrers RFC and Wasps FC. Over 200 young players aged 6yrs to 16yrs joined our Easter CoacHclass to improve their overall ability and understanding of the game in a fun environment; learning several techniques of the game including areas such as handling, decision-making, tackling, and continuity.

London Wasps players Tom Varndell, Chris Mayor, Lewis Thiede, Jonathan Poff, Tim Payne, Marco Wentzel and Riki Flutey supported our Easter CoacHclass Programme by visiting the players to provide inspiration and motivation through Q&As, photographs and autographs.

CoacHclass Programme Officer Ryan Hunt told wasps.co.uk, "The feedback we have received from the players and their parents has been fantastic. We received excellent support from the host venues and are indebted to them for offering to accommodate us. A big thank you to everyone involved and we hope to see you again."
