Event Organiser Ben Smiley told wasps.co.uk, "Given that this was the first festival for U9s and U10s that we have hosted, we are all delighted with the number of teams who entered the EMC Community Cup. The skills and techniques that were on display were outstanding, and a testament to the coaching that they have received in their clubs. Throughout the festival, all of the clubs in attendance were represented brilliantly by their players, coaches and parents."
Upon their return home, Thurrock RFC Under 10s Head Coach Jimmy Ray sent a message stating: "Just a a quick e-mail to say thanks for a great day, all the lads enjoyed themselves and look forward to next years festival"
Watford RFC U9s Coach Russ Clancy, emailed to say: "On behalf of the coaching team and players from Watford U9s, I would like to extend a huge thank you to all involved in the organisation and implementation of the EMC cup competition. We all had a thoroughly enjoyable day. The courtesy and professionalism extended to us by London Wasps, the referees and our fellow competitors and coaches was greatly appreciated and it was a pleasure to see our kids enjoying good rugby played in the spirit it should be. We look forward to taking part in the next competition."
