Why London Wasps CoacHclass?
In the last 9 years our CoacHclass has enabled thousands of players to engage in a healthy and active programme during the
school holidays. We are proud that London Wasps players Sam Jones, Jack Wallace, Bob Baker and Alex Cheeseman all participated in our CoacHclass Programme before graduating through our Academy to the London Wasps team. Our player-centred approach has improved:

  • the CoacHclass players' competence to perform a task to a certain level i.e. technical and tactical skills
  • the CoacHclass players' confidence, positive self-worth and self-efficiency
  • the CoacHclass players' connection through positive bonds with people and institutions resulting in successful relationships
  • the CoacHclass players character and caring through respect for social and cultural rules, possession of standards for correct behaviors, a sense of right and wrong, and integrity
  • the CoacHclass players' creativity through making well-formed decisions and finding one's own solutions

The coaching staff?
Our RFU-qualified & CRB Certificated coaches will work with their age-groups to improve individual core skills, unit skills and team skills. We work very hard to create an excellent player-centred learning environment to develop every player's core skills and game understanding. We will have our CoacHclass physio available throughout the entirety of the CoacHclass to manage the players bodies. A London Wasps Academy coach will also be in attendance throughout the CoacHclass for our Academy Talent Identification Programme.
