News from the treatment room

Update on squad injuries.

Dom Waldouck is back in full training after recovery from a torn Achilles suffered last season. He is on course for a return for the next home game against Newport Gwent Dragons.

Tom Rees is continuing his recover from an ACL rupture and is progressing well post-surgery.

Riki Flutey is recovering from a strained calf but is back running and should be fit for selection in two weeks.

James Cannon suffered a lower back injury in training and is seeking medical advice on whether surgery is necessary.

Charlie Davies has recovered from a calf injury and is fit for selection this weekend.

Joe Launchbury suffered an ankle injury in the game against Bath last weekend and requires surgery. His recovery timeframe will not be known till after surgery next week.

Billy Vunipola suffered a lower back infection which required a hospital stay. His recover from the illness is ongoing and he will continue to be monitored before a timeframe can be set on his return.

Joe Worsley continues to manage an ongoing neck injury which has prevented him from training in recent months. He is continuing to receive treatment and no set time frame for his recovery has been set.

Sam Jones has resumed light training having suffered a stress fracture in his foot. He should be back playing within three to four weeks.
