Wasps youngsters chosen to face Ireland in the Junior World Cup

Three Wasps Youngsters have been named in the England U20 team to face Ireland.

Head Coach Rob Hunter has picked the same starting XV that beat Ireland 46-15 in March to claim their first 6 Nations Grand Slam win since 2008.

For England's first game of the pool stages, Wasps players Elliot Daly and Joe Launchbury both start, while Sam Jones will take his place on the bench.

On the prospect of facing Ireland, Joe Launchbury said “We played Ireland in the recent Six Nations competition so we know roughly the areas that they are going to be strong. We also believe, though, that they are going to be a much better team going into the World Cup with a number of new boys coming into the squad. We just have to concentrate on our game plan and we have a good belief amongst the squad that we will come out on top if we do that well.”
