Injury Update from London Wasps

Ahead of Friday night's Amlim Challenge Cup Quarter-Final against Harlequins at The Stoop, there are a number of injuries being assessed at the club.

Richard Birkett suffered a facial injury in the game against Northampton and is recovering well. He will miss this weekend’s game against Harlequins but is on course to be back for consideration for the next home game against Leeds.

Richard Haughton missed the game against London Irish due to a hamstring strain but should be back in training this week with a view to being available for selection against Harlequins.

Steve Kefu twisted his knee in the game against Northampton. He is undergoing rehab and is being assessed throughout the week.

Dom Waldouck damaged his Achilles in the game against London Irish. He will receive specialist advice this Wednesday after which the club will be in a better position to make a decision on his rehab and recovery time.

Ben Jacobs continues his recovery from a hamstring strain and should be back in training this week with a view to being available for selection against Harlequins.

Will Matthews strained his hamstring in a team-run over the weekend and will need three to four weeks for recovery.

Tom Varndell continues his recovery from surgery. There is no timeframe on his return as he continues to be monitored.

Tom Rees continues his recovery from a long term shoulder injury.
