Injury update from London Wasps
Charlie Beech -Charlie sustained a syndesmosis ankle injury against Glasgow Warriors at Adams Park on the 17th October and is currently working through an eight week rehab programme.Richard Birkett – Richard sustained a broken nose against Glasgow Warriors and has since made a full recovery. In addition to the nose injury, Richard has undergone surgery for a troublesome elbow problem and will be out of action for ten weeks.
Riki Flutey – Whilst with England, Riki continues to recover from a calf injury sustained in Wasps’ clash with Northampton Saints.
John Hart – John is progressing well after shoulder surgery in August he is now six weeks into his rehab programme.
Richard Haughton – Richard continues to recover from sternal bruising, sustained against Glasgow Warriors and is likely to return to full training next week.
Ben Jacobs – Ben sustained a minor tear to his posterior cruciate ligament prior to Wasps v Leeds last weekend and is currently working through a rehab programme with a view to return to play in two weeks.
Simon Shaw – Whilst with England, Simon continues to recover from a calf injury sustained ahead of Wasps’ clash with Northampton Saints.
Christian Wade - Christian is recovering well from a scaphoid operation following an injury sustained in pre-season. He is likely to return to play in six weeks.
Dave Walder – Dave continues to recover from knee injury sustained against Northampton Saints on the 24th October and will return to full training next week.
Joe Ward – Joe is ruled out of this weekend’s game after an elbow complaint. He will work with Wasps rehab team with a view to return to play next weekend.
