This Saturday, 30th January, Wasps are thrilled to welcome back Club legend Lawrence Dellaglio for their third round LV= Cup tie against the Scarlets. Lawrence, along with current London Wasps second-rower Richard Birkett, will participate in an exclusive Q and A before kick off.
Scarlets have come into a rich vein of form, having won their last three matches in all competitions, and, like Wasps, they are unbeaten in the LV= Cup. The Welsh side have also won their last four matches against English opposition so, with Wasps determined to return to their winning ways, the match should prove to be keenly contested. Both sides have everything to play for, in their bids to return to Europe’s premier club rugby competition, as the LV= Cup champion is guaranteed a place in next season’s Heineken Cup.
Tickets for this cross-border clash are still available. To secure your place call 0844 225 2990 or book online HERE. The London Wasps ticket office is open until 8pm on Wednesday and Thursday evenings – don’t delay, book now to stand up and be counted.
You will have noticed that thanks to Wasps Official Main Sponsor EMC, during breaks in play at London Wasps home games, EMC have been sharing exclusive rugby related statistics and information on the big screen with Wasps supporters. Wasps and EMC are now giving you the chance to ask your very own question and find out some exclusive behind the scenes information.
To ask a question email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, contact telephone number and the question you want answered. Each week we will pick one question and uncover and reveal the answer on the big screen during breaks in play at Adams Park. Supporters have until 5pm on the Friday before a London Wasps home game to ask their question – don’t miss out!
Every Supporter that asks EMC a question will automatically enter the draw to be a part of our new half-time competition. Taking place pitch-side, the lucky supporter will have the chance to go head to head against London Wasps, England and Lions Legend Phil Vickery and challenge their rugby knowledge. Every supporter that takes part will be photographed taking on the London Wasps Player and if the supporter is victorious they will walk away with a home or away Wasps shirt personally signed by the guest player. All winning participants will be entered into a draw for the star prize that includes a pair of season tickets and an exclusive training day with Wasps at Twyford Avenue!
Gates will open on Saturday from 2.45pm and supporters can enjoy their pre-match build up in the Wasps Nest Marquee, whilst sampling fine fare with the food and drink outlets also on hand in the supporters village. The entertainments area will also feature a DJ, both before and after the match, and we will be running a post match Q and A session in the Vere Suite and Wasps Nest Marquee with a London Wasps player and a member of the coaching team. The Vere Suite will be open to Season Ticket holders from 2.45pm and the bowl will open to all supporters at 4.15pm.
