London Wasps Injury Update

News from the treatment room

Joe Worsley: After a consultation with London Wasps’ knee surgeon, Andy Williams, it has been decided by all parties that in preference of surgery, Joe will take a conservative approach to his rehab to repair the Grade 3 Medial Collateral Ligament injury to his right knee. Joe is expected to be out for a minimum period of 8 weeks. London Wasps and the England medical team will continue to work together on Joe’s recovery.

Danny Cipriani: Suffering from a chest infection, Danny has been forced to delay his rehab schedule to recover from a fractured fibula. It is anticipated he will return to training next week.

Tom French: Tom continues to make good progress following his achilies repair.

Jason Hobson: Jason is nearing the end of his rehab period following an achillies repair. He will be integrated into light training with the squad next week with a possibility of a return to play within a 3 week time frame.

Warren Fury: Warren sustained a rupture to his ankle ligaments in training this week and following scans will be out of action for at least 6 weeks. Warren has already started his rehab with Wasps medical team.

Tom Lindsay: Tom is in the final stage of his 8 week rehab period following a medial ligament injury to his knee.

Tom Rees: Tom continues to make great progress with his rehab schedule following shoulder surgery.

Mark Robinson: Mark continues to make good progress following his knee surgery in the summer and will integrate into training next week.
