On the morning of Sunday 1st November before our Guinness Premiership clash with Leeds Carnegie, Tom Rees and Tom French visited the Beaconsfield RFC Autumn Tournament. Both of our players are currently injured and took time out from their busy rehabilitation schedule to encourage the young players to perform to the best of their ability and joined the teams for photographs and autographs.
Jim O'Toole, Chairman of Junior Rugby at Beaconsfield RFC welcomed our players to Oak Lodge Meadow and later stated, "We were delighted to host Wasps’ Tom Rees and Tom French at our Autumn Tournament. The two guys were model professionals in the way they dealt with our players, parents and coaches on morning with miserable weather. Their visit to each age group, which they carried out with style and enthusiasm, was a highlight for the hundreds of kids from our four participating clubs who enjoyed meeting them and having team shots taken. Thanks to both Toms, their time was really appreciated."
