Injury update from London Wasps

Tom French: Tom is in the early stages of recovery from a ruptured his achillies sustained in the warm up against Harlequins at Twickenham.

Jason Hobson: Jason continues to progress excellently post achillies repair and is looking to begin jogging within the next 3-4 weeks.

Steve Kefu: Steve suffered a tear to his abductor in training last month. Working with the club’s physio team he makes good progress and has started running with a view to resume training next week.

David Lemi: David sustained a fractured trapezium (small carpal bone) in Wasps clash with Bath at The Rec. He continues to be in a cast and will be reviewed in two weeks time.

Tom Rees: Following a plateau in his rehabilitation Tom was reviewed again by his surgeon for the possibility of an additional procedure. A final consultation will take place on Wednesday where a decision on how to proceed will be made.

Mark Robinson: Mark underwent surgery on his right knee at the close of 2008/09 following some aggravation during the season. He continues to progress well and is building his running strength over the next few weeks.

Simon Shaw: Simon is recovering well from a stress response to his 4th metatarsal and is expected to resume full training next week.

Mark Van Gisbergen: Mark continues to work with Wasps physios after suffering a pelvic dysfunction (groin strain) in Wasps v Bath. It is hoped he will resume training next week.
