Wasps continue to partner with the best

London Wasps are pleased to announce that today Mentzendorff, UK importers and sole distributors of Bollinger Champagne, have renewed their sponsorship agreement with the club for a further two years.

Both parties have expressed their delight on news of the agreement which sees the elite brand partner with London Wasps until the close of the 2008/09 season.

As the official Champagne of London Wasps and England, Bollinger has a vested interest in rugby at both club and international levels. Having already built a strong and successful five year association with London Wasps, Bollinger have been delighted with the club's success both domestically and in Europe. "It is the association of two high quality brands," said the former Chairman of Mentzendorff Bill Page, who still oversees the relationship.

London Wasps' Commercial Director, Peter Scrivener, added "I am delighted that we are continuing this very strong partnership with such a premium brand and an organisation that is a pleasure to deal with".

Champagne Bollinger is one of the few remaining independent, family owned and managed houses, founded by Jacques Bollinger in 1829. For many years it has been one of the top selling premium Champagne brands in the UK.
