London Wasps Supporters Club

About the London Wasps Supporters Club

The London Wasps Supporters Club (LWSC) was established in 2005 with the purpose of bringing together the fans of London Wasps through various means including organising travel and social events. It recognised that supporters were geographically spread across a wide area but were linked by the common thread of supporting London Wasps. Its re-launch in 2013 comes following a review of the Supporters Club and subsequent changes will enable members to get more out of their membership.

There are two memberships available, each with a range of benefits:

Official London Wasps Supporters Club membership - £20 for the season. Check out the benefits here.

Junior London Wasps Supporters Club membership (16 years and under)- £10 for the season. Check out the benefits here.

Each season, a member of the London Wasps first team squad has been invited to be President of the LWSC with an illustrious roll call made up of Alex King, Fraser Waters, Josh Lewsey, Dave Walder, John Hart and currently, Tom Varndell.

Aims of the London Wasps Supporters Club

  • To enhance the experience of its members and increase the number of people involved in active support of the London Wasps rugby team.
  • To organise a number of social and charity-run events throughout the season e.g. ladies night and a Question of Sport.
  • Wherever possible, to operate travel to and from away games.
  • To provide travel advice and information for away games.
  • To address any concerns or queries received from Supporters.

The Supporters Club is run by a team of volunteer London Wasps supporters who together make up the committee and are assisted by members of the commercial team at London Wasps.
The current committee for the 2013/14 season is as follows:

Chairman: Hazel Nicholls
