Back rower, Jonathan Poff, joins the club from New Zealand franchise the Canterbury Crusaders.
Poff was the 139th Crusader, making his debut against the Stormers in 2009.
Born in Cheviot, New Zealand, Poff has learnt his trade at the Crusaders behind Richie McCaw, who is widely reknowned as the best open-side in the world.
The flanker is well known for his ability in the loose and his foraging prowess.
Poff has represented New Zealand at Colts and U21s level.
