Mike Friday 1997/1998

Mike Friday

'Geezer' left Wasps in the summer of 2000 for Harlequins, but has chosen to make the return to Melville's squad in 2001.

During his first period at the club the lightening quick scrum-half forced his way into the first XV after an early season injury to Andy Gomarsall and produced a series of impressive performances.

Now a regular in the England Sevens squad, (which he captained at the World Cup in Argentina) - he will doubtless continue to play international sevens while competing with Martyn Wood for the scrum-half position at Wasps.
