Josh Lewsey

First capped on the England tour of the Southern Hemisphere the multi-talented Lewsey was one of the bright spots of an otherwise disastrous tour. Struggled to make the breakthrough into Clive Woodward's plans for the Six Nations, but played his part in the Summer 2001 tour of Canada and the USA.

Signed from Bristol, Josh has rapidly established himself as an extremely versatile player in the London Wasps line-up. He is arguably the most talented utility player in England, comfortable in every backline position save scrum-half.

Lewsey of course has strong ties with Sudbury as a former Wasps Colts and U21 captain. He joined the club at eighteen and moved through the youth ranks before a lack of first team opportunities combined with his studies at Bristol University precipitated his move to Bristol.

Graduated from Sandhurst in 2001 and should continue to combine his rugby and Army careers with great success.

Josh completed the Tree Peaks Challenge this season and raised well over £1000 for the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society.

Josh is one of the leading Zurich Premiership try scorers and his speed on attack, have makes him a very exciting player to watch.
