Born in Croydon; Elliot Daly started playing rugby at Beckenham, aged 5 and was there until 2006 before spending three years with Dorking up to 2009.
Elliot attended Cumnor House School in South Croydon and then headed to Whitgift School, before joining the London Wasps EPDG and then Academy.
With honours already for England at U16 and U18 level, Daly was a key part of the 2011 U20 Grand Slam Six Nations winning side and the side who reached the Junior World Cup final where he started alongside three of his Wasps team-mates.
Daly became a fulltime professional at the Club ahead of the 2012/11 season and played an important role in his first season out of school with a monster 60 metre kick against Gloucester helping his side to a vital win at a key time in the season. Daly ended the 2011/12 season being awarded the Academy Player of the year and then made the full step up into the senior squad.
Last season Elliot excelled. He made 30 appearances for the Club (the joint highest number) despite only turning 20 in October. He scored 7 tries including a seemingly impossible try against Northampton which saw him pick up the Wasps 'Try of the Season' award at the end of the season as well as being nominated for the Aviva Premiership Guinness 'Try of the Season' award.
His ability to score long range penalties saw him take over some of the kicking duties last season where he landed eight difficult shots at goal.
Elliot was also picked for the England Saxons Squad for the first time and had a successful tour, starting twice against both sides. He ended the season by scooping the coveted 'Young Player of the Season' award and was subsequently named in the Barbarians Squad rounding off a brilliant season for the youngster.
