James Cannon
A giant lock, who stands over two metres tall, Cannon made 23 appearances for the club last season.
Cannon is the son of former Northampton captain Vince Cannon, who made nearly 450 appearances for Northampton, and has been inducted into their Hall of Fame.
He was a regular in the team which won the A League in 2008/9 and spent most of that season on loan to National One side Bedford. He made nine senior appearances for Northampton in all and was part of the England U20s squad which won the Grand Slam in 2008.
He brings youthful potential to an area of the pack which boasts some of the most experienced players in Aviva Premiership Rugby.
