Mark was signed midway through season 98/99 to provide cover during the injury crisis.
Made his debut away to Newcastle and made such an impression that he forced his way into the team, played in the Cup final and has been a permanent fixture ever since.
Mark was handed the temporary captaincy in October 2000, due to the absence of Club captain Lawrence Dallaglio through injury.
A Cambridge graduate he has had previous experience with Bedford and Bristol.
Mark is also a keen Twitcher "Birdwatcher" and loves swiming with Dolphins and once spent a summer picking Penguins up on the Flakland Islands.
The 2002 / 2003 season has seen Mark in formidable form. His power and presence in the midfield has spearheaded the London Wasps attacking play. As a defender Mark is probably one of the best tacklers around and this makes him a valuable asset to the side.
