Ben Broster

This 27-year-old tight head prop comes to Wasps with a wealth of top level experience. He spent five years with Saracens, making 67 appearances for them. He then spent a season with Llanelli Scarlets, before moving to Northampton last season.

London-born, he has a Welsh mother, and he won two caps for Wales, in 2005. He made his debut as a replacement against the USA, then scored a try in his first start, against Canada.

He was offered a one-year contract with Wasps, after impressing Director of Rugby Tony Hanks, at pre-season training in Poland. 'It wasn't just his playing quality, but also his attitude and ability to fit into the squad very quickly'. He'll be a valuable person to add to the Wasps front row mix, which combines hugely experienced campaigners with some rising young stars
