Capped by Scotland in '93, he made the Lions squad same year and captained Scotland on their tour of Argentina in 1994.
Despite being in and out of the team in season 98/99 Andy was a regular feature in the second row in 99/00, prompting his return to the international squad in 99.
Has not been included in the Scotland set up this season
