Simon McIntyre

Born in Manchester; Simon McIntyre started playing rugby at Broughton Park RFC, aged 8 and began his professional career at Sale Sharks in 2009 as an Academy Player.

With 14 appearances in his first year at the Club, McIntyre is tipped as a young prop with plenty of ability to grow into a first team regular under the expert front row guidance of Dai Young and Trevor Woodman.

Talented in the loose, McIntyre has represented England at U18 level.
