John Hart, who enjoys his testimonial this year alongside Richard Birkett, has been an unsung Wasps hero, having made his senior debut in 2003, while still an Academy player.
At the end of the 2010/11 season he had made 150 appearances and captained the side through large parts of last season.
He was also named club captain in the 2005/06 season in the absence of the injured Lawrence Dallaglio, and led the side to their best ever start in the professional era.
He has worked his way up through the ranks since joining Wasps at Academy level. His skills and dedication to the game were further illustrated in an outstanding performance in the Guinness Premiership Final in May 2005, helping Wasps to their third successive Premiership title.
His representative honours include England at U21 level and playing in the 2003 IRB Junior World Cup.
