What is the London Wasps Match Day CoacHclass?
Match Day CoacHclass is part of the London Wasps CoacHclass Grassroots Rugby Programme. It continues to be one of our most popular programmes that has provided thousands of young people with the opportunity to combine a high quality rugby coaching experience with the excitement of watching London Wasps at Adams Park Stadium.
What does the Match Day CoacHclass consists of:
- A 2-hour high quality coaching session at our Community Match Day Training Venue
- Coaching is normally delivered from 10am to 12pm (subject to the Match Kick Off time) by our RFU Qualified and CRB Enhance Disclosure Certificated Community Coaching Team
- Coaching sessions are designed to cover a range of core rugby skills and game understanding
- Certificate and London Wasps 2011/2012 beanie hat for each participating player
- A Match Day Ticket in the Dreams Stand at Adams Park Stadium
- Group photograph opportunity on the Adams Park Stadium pitch
- PA Announcement and Welcome in the Match Day Programme
- Groups using bus or coach transport will be given priority parking at our Community Venue AND Adams Park Stadium where possible
Who can take part?
The Match Day CoacHclass is for:
- Groups of 15 or more
- Boys and girls - 6yrs to 8yrs (Tag Rugby U7s to U8s)
- Boys and girls - 8yrs to 12yrs (Contact Rugby U9s to U12s)
- Boys - 13yrs to 17yrs (Contact Rugby U13s to Colts)
- Girls - 12yrs to 13yrs (U13s Advanced Tag Rugby)
- Girls 14yrs to 17yrs (Contact Rugby U15s & U18s)
- Men - Over 18yrs (Contact Rugby Adults)
- Ladies - Over 18yrs (Contact Rugby Adults)
How much does it cost?
- £22 per participant (U7s to U18s)
- £25 per participant (Adult)
Additional match tickets can be purchased through our Community Group Tickets:
- £13.50 (Adults)
- £7.20 (Concessions)
How many places are available per game?
For the 2011 - 2012 season we will have up to 300 Match Day CoacHclass places available per home game.

Please note that the Match Day CoacHclass is subject to cancellation at very late notice in the event of exceptionally poor weather. This decision will only be made in consultation with the London Wasps Community Rugby Manager and Community Venue grounds staff - who will have the final say. In the case of a cancellation NO REFUNDS can be issued on match tickets or any refund be issued on additional tickets purchased.
Match Day CoacHclass Terms and Conditions:
- Payment for Match Day CoacHclass and any additional match tickets must be made before the fixture date
- Match Day CoacHclass will be held for a period of two hours. The timings of the Match Day CoacHclass will be arranged by the CoacHclass Development Officer in accordance with the timings of the match
- London Wasps are not responsible for children left unsupervised outside of the designated Match Day CoacHclass hours
- Match Day CoacHclass will be staffed by RFU accredited and CRB Enhanced Disclosure certificated coaches. First Aid during the 2-hour rugby coaching session will be the responsibility of London Wasps; all serious injuries will be reported to the Emergency Services via 999 and conveyed to the nearest Accident & Emergency Hospital
- The highest safety measures will be implemented; however we cannot be held responsible for damages, injuries or loss of possessions; we strongly recommend that all possessions are clearly marked and all valuable items be left at home
- London Wasps reserve the right to suspend any child that causes disruption to the Match Day CoacHclass due to misbehavior. The club and parents will also be informed of any situation which involves your child
- We may take photographs of course participants for use in future promotions and publications. Please inform us if you have any objections to your child being photographed
- In the event of the game being cancelled before the Match Day CoacHclass has been held, all Match Day CoacHclass participants will receive a full refund on the price of their coaching. Match Ticket refunds will be in accordance with London Wasps Box Office terms and conditions
- In the event of the game being cancelled after the Match Day CoacHclass has been held, no refund will be available on the price of the Match Day CoacHclass or any travel costs incurred. Match Ticket refunds will be in accordance with London Wasps Box Office terms and conditions
- Cancellations made at least five days before the Match Day CoacHclass shall receive a full refund on the price of the Match Day CoacHclass. Ticket refunds will be in accordance with the London Office Box Office terms and conditions
- Cancellations made later than five days beforehand will receive a 50% refund
- London Wasps accept no liability to refund travel costs in the event of the Match Day CoacHclass and London Wasps home game being postponed for any reason
- Booking onto Match Day CoacHclass is considered acceptance of these conditions
