What is the London Wasps Match Day CoacHclass?
Our Match Day CoacHclass consists of a two-hour high quality coaching session held at your school or our Match Day Community Venue followed by watching London Wasps in action at Adams Park Stadium, High Wycombe. The coaching times are normally 10am to 12pm (subject to Match Kick Off time) and delivered by the London Wasps Community Team.
What do players gain from participating in our Match Day CoacHclass?
Our Match Day CoacHclass is designed to be challenging, rewarding, educational and inspiring. We have the knowledge and experience to be able to provide bespoke sessions that can be used to build on your team's skill levels, structures and ethos that you have in place to play rugby; whether it's an expansive style of free-flowing rugby or tight ten-man rugby. The sessions support all levels of abilities and fully support the RFU Core Values of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship while aiming to educate, motivate and inspire players to fulfill their potential.
It has proved to be one of our most popular initiatives as we combine a high quality rugby coaching experience with the excitement of watching London Wasps at Adams Park Stadium. We can offer up to 250 young people AND their families the chance to enjoy our Match Day CoacHclass. This is the ideal day out to educate, motivate and inspire your school year group.
What does the Match Day CoacHclass consists of:
How much does the Match Day CoacHclass cost?
How does your school benefit from taking part in our Match Day CoacHclass?
This activity can help bridge the gap between our coaching in your school and your players watching their professional role models performing in Black and Gold at Adams Park Stadium. This is not just a high quality coaching opportunity, but a chance to provide your pupils with the excitement of watching professional rugby. We believe that it is a priority for schools to ensure that young people receive opportunities to participate in Field Trips to gain from the associated lifestyle benefits and rewards.
Our Match Day CoacHclass can be part of your school's involvement in our Independent Schools Programme at all levels to provide your players with increased opportunities to develop their skills, game understanding and decision-making. Teachers and coaches will be able to take many aspects of the rugby training and London Wasps performance to enhance your school sessions.
If you have Boarders, this could be an excellent opportunity to organise a full day of activities that is not only great value for money but also a healthy activity that provides grassroots and professional sport.
