What are the London Wasps Leadership workshops?
Our five hour workshops focus on the development of leadership skills through the vehicle of sport or rugby, offering a mixture of predominantly practical with some theory based topics. Our workshop will encourage young people to take responsibility for others, develop organisation and communication skills and build confidence for all those involved in school, club and community sporting environments.

Why these workshops?
Our workshops are designed to give groups of young people the generic leadership skills that will be vital in other areas of life, offering a fun and practical course that focuses on leading rather than technical ability.
The young people will add benefit to their school/club and their community, creating a workforce of responsible and enthusiastic skilled young people; creating a foundation for progression to further qualifications, and/or National Governing Body awards.
Our workshops are designed and developed by leading professionals to be informative and enjoyable for all participants who possess an interest in sport and leadership.

Our workshops are £300 per workshop (Maximum of 20 participants)

FAQs
What level of expertise can we expect from the 'delivery team'?
All of our tutors are carefully selected and meet a comprehensive set of minimum standards* and possess a RFU-issued CRB Enhanced Disclosure Certificate. They demonstrate a high level of energy and enthusiasm and are passionate about ensuring that each participant has an enjoyable, stimulating and rewarding experience. *Rugby Football Union/1st4sport, 'Coach Developer'
When and where will the workshop take place?
All training will be delivered on site at your venue at a time convenient to your needs. Specific requirements for delivery can be discussed in more detail by contacting the London Wasps Community Rugby Manager.
What delivery space will be required?
You will need to ensure that there is access to the following:
- 1 x suitable indoor theory work space
- 1 x practical area (ideally on grass, 30m x 40m)
What services do you provide other than the London Wasps Leadership workshops?
