Land Rover Premiership Cup

London Wasps invite U11s and U12s teams to enter the Land Rover Premiership Cup on 22nd October 2011

The Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup is a nationwide tournament for U11 and U12 teams. It is the first of its kind to be officiated by Premiership Rugby Ltd and run in conjunction with all 12 Aviva Premiership Rugby clubs. After the success of the first three seasons, in which over 21,000 aspiring young players took part in festivals all over the country, we are looking forward to seeing more young stars battling it out for a place in the finals this year.

London Wasps will host our rugby festival at Royal Air Force Halton* on Saturday 22nd October during the afternoon before our LV= Cup evening fixture versus Newport Gwent Dragons at Adams Park Stadium. The Festival winners will be paraded as Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup champions at Adams Park Stadium and will also form the Tunnel of Honour to welcome the London Wasps and Newport Gwent Dragons players on to the pitch.

Professional players from London Wasps will also attend the festivals, presenting trophies and signing autographs. *Royal Air Force Halton; Coslett Sports Pitches, McEwen Ride, Halton, Buckinghamshire, HP22 5NR (15.11 miles from Adams Park)

Festival Format:

• 10 minute games with half-time change of ends
• Quarter-Finals; subject to the number of teams entering
• Semi-Finals
• Festival Final
• Presentations
• Move to Adams Park Stadium to watch London Wasps home fixture
• Festival Winners and Runners-Up form the 'Tunnel of Honour' at Adams Park Stadium

All participants will receive a certificate with age-group winners from each of the 12 regional Festivals being crowned Land Rover Premiership Cup Champions collecting a trophy and receiving an invite to take part in the "Celebration of Rugby" at the Aviva Premiership Final.

Cost: Team entry is FREE + an optional Squad Ticket charge of £143.10 (for 18 concession & 1 adult match tickets); additional match tickets will be available at our Community Discount rate of £13.50 (adults) and £7.20 (concessions); tickets will be allocated on a first-come basis. Please note that pre-booked Mini-Bus and Coach parking at Adams Park Stadium will be FREE; subject to availability.
