London Wasps provide support and encouragement with the long-term aim of helping our community to choose a healthy and active lifestyle. We believe it is important that we continue to provide opportunities for people to become more active and self-confident while being aware to become smoke free and drink responsibly.
Delivered as part of the Health Pillar of Activity of the London Wasps Community Foundation
From primary school children right through to adults we use the London Wasps name to help people lead a more balanced lifestyle and address underlying problems that may be affecting their health. Our interactive programmes, such as our Lifestyle Assembly Programme, 'Something To Chew On' and 'MEND / Prop Idol' are enjoyed by our community and receive recognition for educating young people on the importance of being healthy.
The London Wasps Community Foundation is committed to working with clubs, teams and volunteers at grassroots level, with the aim of encouraging more people of all ages and levels of ability to take part and enjoy sport as either a player, volunteer or administrator.
"After all the cheers have died down and the stadium is empty, after the headlines have been written, and after you are back in the quiet of your room and the championship ring has been placed on the dresser and after all the pomp and fanfare have faded, the enduring thing that is left is the dedication to doing with our lives the very best we can to make the world a better place in which to live." - Vince Lombardi, Legendary NFL Coach
