The RDS (Royal Dublin Society) is home to the Leinster First XV's home matches and is situated in the Heart of Dublin in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.
It is located on a 42-acre site between The Four Seasons Hotel and Herbert Park on Merrion Road.

Outside Trinity College, take Nassau Street (N11) for about 150 metres then turn right following the signposts for the R118. Follow the R118 (also locally known Mount Street; turns into Merrion Road) for approximately 2km. The RDS Showgrounds will be situated on the right hand side.
Parking is configured at the RDS according to the location, timing and nature of the event. It is recommended to call to check parking arrangements for the event you are attending. There are three main entrances/parking areas at the RDS: Merrion Road, Simmonscourt Rd and Anglesea Road.
Merrion Road car park is open year-round from 9.00am - 6.00pm, Monday to Friday. A flat fee is charged for the first three hours after which time an hourly rate is applied. Hours are extended for events. Simmonscourt and Anglesea Road car parks are open for particular events. A flat fee is charged upon entry. Parking is available on a first come basis.

Dublin DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transport) service also operates from the City Centre to Ballsbridge. Travel southbound to Lansdowne or Sandymount stations.
Dublin Bus operate a number of services to the city and one way fares start at around €1.60 for the regular services 16a, 41 and 41b. We would recommend the Airport Express services 746, 747 and 748 which will bring you to the city centre, with the 746 service continuing on to Dun Laoghaire. Fares are €6 one way or €10 return. Dublin Bus also has an office located in O' Connell Street where they run open top bus tours of the city and the coastlines. www.dublinbus.ie
On arrival at Dublin Airport you have several transfer options available for travel to the city centre. All the below options are located directly outside the door on the Arrivals level of the airport.
Taxi: A taxi trip to the city centre will cost somewhere between €20-25. A taxi from the city centre will cost in the region of €8-10.
Aircoach: The blue coaches of the Aircoach service depart every 15 mins and will cost 7 single or 12 return. For day trippers, this service will bring you to the RDS via the city centre and back to the airport via Donnybrook. For route details see www.aircoach.ie
