We Value Your Support!

What your support means to the Club - A message from Wasps Owner Steve Hayes and Director of Rugby Tony Hanks

Steve Hayes

"We want our 2010/11 Season Ticket packages to reflect our excitement ahead of the coming season. We also want to acknowledge the incredible support we receive from our fans which is absolutely vital to the ongoing success of the Club both on and off the pitch, and therefore we’ve added real value to all 2010/11 Season Tickets by introducing some great new benefits at no additional cost.

We have also introduced two brand new Season Ticket options for the 2010/11 season. “Family 2” entitles one adult and one junior to a special discounted rate, while “Family 4” offers the same discount for two adults and two juniors, and we hope they provide the perfect opportunity to bring the whole family to Adams Park and introduce the next generation of supporters to the Club.

Wasps are aiming for big things next season, on both the domestic and European stage, and with so much to look forward to we hope you’ll sign up and be part of it in 2010/11 - once a Wasp, always a Wasp!"

Tony Hanks

"Season Ticket holders are Wasps’ most valued supporters. Their commitment to the Club is vital to our ongoing success, both on and off the field. For the 2010/11 season, we have made every effort to reflect that dedication and contribution in our Season Ticket packages.

During the 2009/10 season the team showed a lot of promise, played some very good rugby and competed strongly in all three competitions. Unfortunately, though, the silverware we aspire to just eluded us. Nevertheless, twelve months on from where we started as a new look group of players and coaches; I know we’re moving in the right direction.

The challenge, now, is to take Wasps to the next level in 2010/11. The Club has secured its return to the Heineken Cup and we’re excited about bringing the action from Europe’s premier club rugby tournament back to Adams Park. We also had a high number of international call-ups over the summer with seven players named in the senior England squad – the most from any club - and players named in the Saxons, Sevens and national representative age grade groups which demonstrates our continued focus to developing talents for the here and now and for the future.

We have an exciting and talented group of players at Wasps and they are determined to build on the progress made last season. We are all extremely proud of the Club’s history and a number of us have been involved in lots of special moments in recent years, but this group of players has always maintained that it wants to create its own legacy. With new talents coming into the Club including a familiar face in England and Lion Riki Flutey, a host of Wasps great names re-signing, including Club Captain Tom Rees, Serge Betsen and Joe Worsley to name but a few, it is an exciting time for all in black and gold and we want you to be a part of that.

A Season Ticket is more than just a ticket. It’s a commitment to Wasps which is as important as the commitment of the players and coaches in achieving our goals. We can’t do it without you.

I look forward to having you there with us next season."
